As talent becomes the key frontier on which organizations compete, the ability to select and hire the right candidate for the job has become more critical than ever before. In this application oriented micro-workshop, participants will master the STAR interview technique which is a proven method for conducting successful interviews.
This is an intense, hands-on, and mastery focused workshop. Participants will learn the nuances of the technique through role plays, videos, and activities. Then, participants will conduct mock interviews using the STAR technique. Finally, each participant will undertake an online simulated assessment where they will be required to conduct two interviews. Participants will receive a certificate of proficiency at the end of the workshop.
There are two skill drills in this workshop:
Participants will first get a deep dive into the STAR interview technique using role plays, exercises, and mock interviews.
Participants will be required to conduct a series of online, simulated interviews. Participants will receive a STAR proficiency report card at the end of the simulations.
This micro-workshop is ideal for managers who are responsible for hiring, performance management, project and financial management. All managers will benefit from this program.
A Skill Drill is an intense cognitive and emotional workout that guides participants to adopt a new technique or a new way of thinking that can dramatically improve performance. Each Skill Drill is designed to last 45 minutes to an hour.
A pre-workshop survey ensures that the Skill Drills are relevant, contextual and realistic to the problems and challenges faced by participants in their daily jobs.
