Skill drill 1: Types of Questions

In this skill drill, participants will explore the different types of questions using a high-energy game. They will also examine each kind of question; when to use them and how to use them.

Skill Drill 2: Structured Questioning

This session is driven through short group processes, role plays, and exercises. In this skill drill, participants will explore the process of structured questioning. They will also learn how to apply the process of structured questioning to:

  • Identify customer/user needs )internal and external)
  • Conduct interviews
  • Conduct discussions with their manager/team member
  • Questions to identify the root cause of a problem – 5Whys
  • Questions to identify problems and issues – Socratic Questioning

Skill Drill 3: Questioning and Taking Notes

In this skill drill, participants will learn the habit of taking notes. They will explore the advantages of note-taking and how it helps in documenting information relayed in meetings, interviews, reviews, discussions, brainstorming, and other workplace settings.
